A youngster, Abdul Nadher Kayum, has been indicted following a series of sexual assaults and indecent exposures in East London.

Abdul Nadher Kayum, 19, currently without a permanent residence, was accused on Tuesday with three counts of sexual assault.

Abdul Nadher Kayum is additionally charged with five charges of indecent exposure and one count of outraging public decency.

The nine purported offences occurred in the E3 vicinity of Tower Hamlets between 31 August and 28 September.

The Metropolitan Police announced that the Abdul Nadher Kayum will be presented in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The charges were announced shortly after the police released a still image from CCTV of a cyclist they wished to interview, requesting anyone who recognised the individual to contact them.

After admitting responsibility to a string of sexual assaults against Tower Hamlets women, a sexual predator has been sentenced.

Abdul Nadher Kayum, 19, was suspended for two years and sentenced to eighteen months in jail. He was also granted a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for five years, preventing him from approaching or conversing by words or gesture with any lone female on any street, footway or in a green space and recorded on the sexual offences register for ten years.
