Sergeant James Truscott of South Wales Police has been suspended ON FULL PAY. He is accused of sexually assaulting a third party in conjunction with another member of the same police agency.
James Truscott’s mobile device has been confiscated in connection with the inquiry.
The allegations of sexual assault have been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which has mandated South Wales Police to conduct their own investigation, as the IOPC primarily investigates serious claims of police misconduct or criminal activity, particularly those that elicit substantial public concern, such as fatalities in custody, rather than sexual assaults.
