Aside from multiple acts of public indecency and outrage that he has never been arrested for, the lunatic influencer Speed has come close to being a sex offender on two separate occasions:
The Adin Ross “E-Date” Controversy and Twitch Ban (December 2021): Early in his streaming career, Speed appeared on Adin Ross’s livestreamed dating show opposite creator Ash Kash. During an exchange, Speed made aggressive, inappropriate comments that crossed into threats of sexual violence, repeatedly asking who would stop him from assaulting her in a hypothetical end-of-the-world scenario. The incident sparked widespread outrage and led to Twitch issuing him an indefinite ban for sexual coercion and intimidation (which was eventually lifted in late 2023).
The Exposure Incident (August 2023): While streaming the horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s on YouTube to tens of thousands of viewers, Speed reacted intensely to a jump-scare and jumped up from his chair. In doing so, he suffered a wardrobe malfunction that briefly exposed his genitals on camera. The clip spread rapidly across social media, spawning viral memes and hashtags. YouTube chose not to terminate his account because…well, why did you think? This display has been compared, by some, to the “accidental” exposure of Janet Jackson’s breast by Justin Timberlake.
Speed is now a Ghanaian citizen, so it is unclear if he will be taking his questionable behaviours there.
