In 2021, Simba Masvaure, a then 44-year-old man from Milton Keynes, was convicted following a police investigation into multiple sexual offences committed against children over twelve years.
Simba Masvaure, of Kingsfold, Bradville, Milton Keynes, was found guilty of 11 sexual offences following a 10-day trial at Northampton Crown Court. His convictions included sexual assault by penetration, attempted rape, and sexual activity with a child. The court heard that the systematic abuse took place over more than a decade in Northampton, causing significant and long-term distress to the victims involved throughout the offending period.
Investigating officers gathered testimonial and physical evidence to build a comprehensive case for prosecution. Following the jury’s guilty verdicts on 11 June 2021, Masvaure was remanded in custody ahead of his sentencing hearing scheduled for Friday, 13 August 2021. Detectives praised the victims’ courage in coming forward and supporting the complex criminal investigation.
Upon sentencing, Masvaure faces a substantial custodial term to reflect the gravity of his actions. In addition, he will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and made subject to long-term post-release monitoring through court-ordered restrictions designed to protect the public.
