In 2021, a then 50-year-old man, LEE HUGHSON, from Sheerness was jailed following a Kent Police investigation into illicit digital material.
Lee Hughson, of Broadway, Sheerness, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on 24 June 2021 to two years’ imprisonment after pleading guilty to multiple charges relating to the possession of prohibited digital media.
Officers executed a warrant at his address in January 2020, seizing computer equipment that contained thousands of illegal files. Hughson also admitted to breaching a pre-existing Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
In addition to his custodial sentence, he was made subject to strict ongoing legal restrictions upon his release.
