Three Paedophiles, members of a Rochdale Asian Grooming Gang, have been indicted for child sexual crimes in Rochdale.
Seven charges have been filed against three individuals of the Rochdale Asian Grooming Gang, encompassing several instances of rape and sexual abuse involving a single victim.
- Naveed Anwar (28/06/1984) of Rochdale has been charged with rape of a girl aged 13–15 and rape of a woman aged 16 or over.
- Mohammed Abdul-Sami (08/12/1980) of Rochdale has been charged with rape of a girl aged 13–15 and rape of a woman aged 16 or over. They have both been bailed to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on 19/03/2026.
- Dilwar Ali (20/05/1980) of Rochdale has been charged with two counts of rape of a girl aged 13–15 and one count of assault by penetration. He has been bailed to appear at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on 18/03/2026.
The charges relate to purported offences against a single victim that occurred between 2008 and 2009 and were instituted after an inquiry conducted by our CSE Major Investigation Team under Operation Bridgewater.
