An inquiry revealed that Reginald Alan Roach, a Sex Offender, discovered with his genitals severed, succumbed to exsanguination.
Reginald Alan Roach, aged 63, was found by a dog walker in the unoccupied Bryn Cegin industrial area in Bangor on 6 November.
Acting Senior Coroner Kate Sutherland elucidated that Reginald Alan Roach was discovered “unresponsive” as she commenced the hearing in Caernarfon.
A postmortem analysis determined that the cause of death was “shock and haemorrhaging resulting from incised wounds that severed the genitalia.”
Reginald Alan Roach, from the Ty Newydd bail facility on Llandygai Road, was scheduled to appear at Llandudno Magistrates Court on October 11, one week before his demise.
He confronted an accusation of noncompliance with notification obligations about the sex offenders register at Caernarfon Police Station and was expected to enter his plea that day.
In August, Reginald Alan Roach confessed to indecent exposure at a Travelodge Hotel. In 2020, he admitted to vandalising a poppy memorial the day following Remembrance Sunday of the previous year.
Mrs Sutherland postponed the inquest hearing to a subsequent date, awaiting the outcome of additional investigations.
