In connection with a severe sexual assault that occurred in Bristol, Avon and Somerset Police have disclosed an image of a man with whom they wish to communicate.
A minor in her mid-teens was the victim of a severe sexual assault by an unknown perpetrator in the Portland Square area at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20.
The victim disclosed the incident to a member of the public, who promptly reported the matter to the authorities.
The victim has been offered access to any support services she believes would be beneficial, and an extensive investigation is currently underway. We have maintained communication with her.
We are currently releasing an image of a man with whom we would like to speak, as we believe he may have information that could be helpful in our investigations. CCTV and forensic investigations have been conducted.
The individual depicted in the image is described as having black curly hair, a goatee-style beard, and a skinny build. He is of Asian descent, between the ages of 20 and 24, and is wearing grey trousers, a grey-and-black blazer, white trainers, and a dark bicycle.
