A mother who grossly neglected her child by enabling Christopher Stockton to torture her child over months prior to him finally killing her two year old son was imprisoned back in February 2025.
But do not worry, thanks to the British Public she only got 4 years for facilitating the torture and sexual abuse of her toddler, and she has already been granted day parole from jail, with full release anticipated in May 2026. Hoorah.
In February 2025, Paula Roberts was incarcerated after confessing to a charge of child cruelty for neglecting to obtain medical care for multiple injuries sustained by her two-year-old son over a nine-month duration and for permitting her boyfriend to inflict excessive force on the child resulting in the child’s death.
Christopher Stockton finally fatally assaulted 22-month-old Charlie Roberts on January 12, 2024, resulting in a catastrophic brain injury and retinal haemorrhaging.
The young youngster had been entrusted to the killer’s custody by his mother, Paula Roberts. Charlie had severe, deadly injuries, including to his brain, after being “shaken or thrown with significant force.”
Infant Charlie endured several significant and major injuries over the course of weeks and months, including multiple contusions and an ear damage.
The jury was informed of, and presented with photos of, an injury that Charlie incurred to his penis in December 2023, which a physician characterised as a “severe laceration” that appeared non-accidental and still the mother kept the child, because the woman never knows what the bad men are doing to their kids. Yeah, right.
Christopher Stockton received a life sentence with a minimum duration of 25 years. An eight-year prison sentence for child maltreatment was imposed, to be served concurrently.
Next year Paula Roberts will be out and no doubt working on her next child and finding a paedophile, child killing partner.
Sleep well everyone.
