A Bournemouth Black British Rapist, Nichail Jamal Sixto, who raped two women, has been sentenced after the brave victims came forward and enabled detectives to achieve convictions against him.
Nichail Jamal Sixto, aged 39 and of Bournemouth, was found guilty of three charges of rape at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
The first victim came forward after she was raped by Sixto, who was known to her, during an evening in June 2024 at a barber shop in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, where the defendant worked.
Despite the victim, a woman in her 20s, attempting to push him off, Sixto continued and made efforts to video what was happening on his cell phone.
Later that year, in October 2024, the defendant attended the home address of a woman aged in her 30s in Poole.
The woman repeatedly told Sixto that she didn’t want to have sex with him, but he still raped her while holding her down.
On Sunday, October 27, 2024, Sixto, a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago who identifies as Black Caribbean, including Black British, was taken into custody. Detectives conducted a thorough investigation while offering assistance to the victims.
Sixto also admitted to being involved in the supply of heroin and cocaine in Bournemouth between April and July of 2023.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, the same court sentenced him to three years and five months in jail for the narcotics charges.
For the rape charges, Sixto was given an 11-year jail sentence, which will be served consecutively for a total of 14 years and 5 months. In addition, he will serve an extra five years on his licence for the rape charges.
