A serving Metropolitan Police detective sergeant, DS Marvin Turner the London Sex Offender, has been terminated without notice following a professional standards inquiry into sexual harassment.
Detective Sergeant Marvin Turner will be added to the Barred List maintained by the College of Policing.
Individuals listed are ineligible for employment with police forces, local policing bodies (PCCs), the Independent Office for Police Conduct, or Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services.
