Kiefer Garner, from Blackburn, who had hundreds of pornographic pictures of other children on his phone and laptop and recorded himself sexually abusing a young girl, was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
When a USB containing videos of Kiefer Garner abusing the girl was found, Lancashire Police opened an inquiry.
His victims’ and another girl’s nude photos were also on the USB.
Officers took a laptop and a cell phone from Garner’s house when he was apprehended in Blackburn.
Ninety-two of the 519 obscene photos that were discovered on the USB, laptop, and mobile device were classified as Category A, the most serious category.
Additionally, there were other Snapchat screen recordings on the USB that showed Garner using a different name on the profile and a photograph of a young adult guy rather than himself.
Garner was shown conversing and sharing pictures with young women on the screen recordings.
Garner, a 35-year-old man without a fixed address, appeared for sentencing at Preston Crown Court Sessions House last week (June 15) after entering a guilty plea to charges of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration, assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, causing or inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 13, and taking indecent photos of a child.
He received a 14-year prison sentence along with an eight-year extended license.
Garner will be permanently listed on the Sex Offenders Register and subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
