Three Slovakian nationals,Kevin Horvath, Ivan Turtak and Ernest Gunar, who sexually assaulted a 12-year-old English girl in Kent, have received a cumulative sentence of 53 years.
Prolonged jail sentences have been imposed on three sexual offenders who repeatedly assaulted a 12-year-old girl after enticing her into a vehicle in Dover.
On Sunday, August 11, 2024, Kevin Horvath and Ivan Turtak accosted their victim in a supermarket parking lot, subsequently transporting her to other locations where they, together with a third perpetrator, Ernest Gunar, inflicted severe abuse over several days.
All were found guilty of several child sexual offences, including rape, after a trial earlier this year and were sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday, September 12, 2025.
Kevin Horvath, 26, of King Street, Dover, and Ivan Turtak, 38, of George Street, were each condemned to 17 years in prison, while Ernest Gunar, 27, of Sidney Street, Folkestone, received a 19-year sentence.
All three individuals, Kevin Horvath, Ivan Turtak and Ernest Gunar, who are Slovakian nationals and guests of the British Public, will additionally serve three years on parole as stipulated by the terms of their increased sentences.
