In 2022, the Offender Register reported that John Wayne Poxon, then 57, of Coniston Crescent, was convicted of 10 counts of indecent assault against a female under the age of 14.
The sisters were only four and six years old when the offences began in the 1990s.
The children were subjected to degrading and humiliating sexual assaults by Poxon, which left them petrified of him.
The abuse persisted for nearly five years in the case of one of the girls.
In October, a jury found Poxon guilty, and he was sentenced at York Crown Court on November 28, 2022.
The 14-year sentence comprises 13 years of imprisonment and an additional year.
