An invited British Guest and NW2 Rapist, James Nicolaou, the assailant, attempted to rape an English woman in her late 60s by emerging from the bushes with a knife.

James Nicolaou, 32, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for assaulting a woman during her summer stroll in Neasden Recreation Ground.

The victim, rendered unconscious during the “atrocious” attempted rape, informed hospital personnel that she had observed a man concealing himself in the woods around 5 PM on July 31 of the previous year.

She stated that James Nicolaou leapt out and seized her posterior. He brandished a knife, exposed himself, and attempted to assault her sexually.

She collapsed and lost consciousness during the assault. Upon awakening, the assailant had departed.

She presented herself in a north London hospital with head injuries and contusions, informing the personnel about the assault that occurred on August 2.

Forensic investigations were carried out, enabling detectives to identify Nicolaou.

James Nicolaou was apprehended on August 7 and indicted the subsequent day.

District of Columbia, Mary Fenton of the North West Command Unit stated: “The Judge, HHJ Bourne QC, noted that James Nicolaou is regarded as a perilous individual, which justifies the sentence imposed.” I am confident that London will be a more secure environment now that he is incarcerated.

The lady was taking her customary evening walk on a summer night when she endured a brutal assault. She has demonstrated significant courage during our investigation.
