The Offender Database reported that Ian Crockford, the Worthing Paedophile, a registered sex offender, who had hundreds of illegal images of children, was sentenced.
Following his 2019 imprisonment for child sex offences, Ian Crockford was the subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order (SHPO).
After his arrest, an examination of his computers and mobile phone revealed hundreds of obscene pictures of youngsters.
Along with teaching another child molester how to mistreat a child, the 52-year-old had also sent unlawful pictures of children being raped and abused.
Later charges included six counts of producing or distributing obscene photos of a minor, one count of publishing an indecent article, and breach of his SHPO.
At Worthing Magistrates’ Court on December 12, 2023, Ian Crockford, of Stone Lane in Salvington, Worthing, admitted guilt to all charges and was freed on court bail awaiting punishment.
Officers discovered Ian Crockford had broken his bail terms and engaged in additional criminal activity by acquiring a new mobile phone and trying to contact children while on judicial bail.
His device also included more graphic pictures of children being raped and tortured.
Once more arrested, Ian Crockford was charged with four further charges of publishing an obscene article and another breach of his SHPO—making or distributing indecent photos of children.
He entered a guilty plea to all charges; at Lewes Crown Court on February 29, he received a three-year prison sentence on all counts.
