Graham Ramsden, the Dewsbury Paedophile, who perpetrated numerous sexual assaults in Kirklees over 50 years ago, has been incarcerated.
Graham Ramsden, 69, of Kirk Close, Dewsbury, was sentenced to 11 years in prison and a further two years on licence at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday, 30 October, after being found guilty of 10 indecent assaults committed in the 1970s.
A jury previously convicted the 69-year-old on eight charges of indecent assault in violation of section 14(1) of the Sexual Offences Act 1956.
The jurors determined that Graham Ramsden had perpetrated two offences of indecency with a child, in violation of section 1(1) of the Indecency with Children Act 1960.
The offences occurred from 1970 to 1977 in the Kirklees area, commencing when the victim was a young child. The report was made to Kirklees child safety investigators in 2020.
After an intricate and protracted inquiry, Graham Ramsden was summoned to appear before the Leeds Magistrates’ Court.
