In 2022, the Offender Register reported that Graham Green, a West Cumbrian man, had been sentenced to imprisonment after he admitted to grooming a teenage girl via social media.
Graham Green, 37, of High Stowbank, Frizington, was present at Carlisle Crown Court today.
At an earlier hearing, he had pleaded guilty to two counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl and meeting a girl under 16 years of age after participating in grooming.
Green and two girls committed the offences between June and August 2021.
Before organising a meeting, Green communicated with a girl via social media and provided her with cigarettes and alcohol.
The females were once picked up by Green, who then assaulted them after providing them with alcohol and cigarettes.
He has been sentenced to a year and nine months in prison, has been issued a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, and will be enrolled in the sexual offender register.
