In 2022, George Moreby, the Tamworth Paedophile, was discovered in possession of obscene photos of children, having been previously convicted for analogous acts.

A paedophile from North Warwickshire, George Moreby, discovered in possession of indecent photographs of minors and ‘extreme pornography’ on multiple devices, stated to the police, ‘I just can’t help myself.’ Following a prior conviction for analogous offences, the 26-year-old was apprehended in 2022.

On April 9 of this year, Warwickshire Police conducted a raid at the residence of George Moreby, located at The Hills in Warton, near Tamworth, confiscating many devices. They were discovered to possess obscene photographs of minors and images of bestiality.

George Moreby, 26, had prior convictions for the possession of indecent photographs and for enticing a minor to participate in sexual behaviour. Upon his arrest at home, he reportedly informed an officer that he was ‘addicted’ and ‘didn’t even enjoy it.’

He allegedly told a detective, “I simply cannot restrain myself; I paused momentarily but resumed.” I require assistance, as I derive no pleasure from it and am addicted.

George Moreby was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order after those convictions. He was charged with violating the order, in addition to charges related to indecent photographs of children and extreme pornography. The sex offender was sentenced to three and a half years in prison on Tuesday, November 29.

District of Columbia Adam James stated, “We endorse this sentence and anticipate it will act as a cautionary message to individuals contemplating viewing indecent images.” These substances inflict severe damage on children.
