Dean Moore, a paedophile who has a sexual desire to view baby boys being sexually abused, is back in jail.
In 2023, a shop employee discovered a photo of a small child being sexually abused on the pervert’s phone, leading to Dean Moore’s three-year prison sentence.
In order to obtain a cash loan, Moore had left his phone at a store that was characterised as “like a pawnbrokers.”
When he failed to return it, the store seized it and began erasing data. However, they were outraged to see a picture of a small boy being mistreated, so they alerted the police.
Twenty-two of the most serious category A photographs, forty-four category B images, and three category C images were found on the phone and another device.
The National Crime Agency then referred Moore and an undercover agent to the police in 2022 for their online conversations concerning child sexual abuse.
Moore had “expressed a sexual interest in boys under 13 and said he had been trading pictures of a ten-year-old boy” performing a sex act, according to testimony given to Newcastle Crown Court at the time.
After searching his home, they discovered 1,760 category A, 885 category B, and 1,970 category C photos on a phone and cloud storage devices.
Indecent pictures of infants under six months old being sexually assaulted were included in one of the accounts.
Moore, who had been convicted of similar offences in the past, entered a guilty plea to both having extreme pornography featuring a dog and indecent pictures. He received a three-year prison sentence.
Additionally, he was subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order that prohibited him from interacting with minors under the age of 18 and erased his online history.
Moore, of Cook Close, South Shields, however, demonstrated that he is unable to restrain his insane sexual fascination with children.
Moore had deleted almost 14,000 internet search results and had conversed with a youngster on TikTok when two of his phones were confiscated by police earlier this year, Newcastle Crown Court heard.
Prosecutors claimed that one of the devices also had an offensive picture of two youngsters, ages seven to nine.
Moore acknowledged sharing a photo of his genitalia on Snapchat during the interview, but there was no proof that it was transmitted to a minor.
After entering a guilty plea to four counts of violating a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), purposefully mailing a photo of his genitalia, and creating an indecent photograph of a minor, the 31-year-old has now been imprisoned for 24 months.
The prosecutor, Gurjot Kaur, stated that in January of this year, a police officer went to Moore’s house after learning that he might be violating his injunction.
After being questioned twice about whether or not he had access to a Snapchat account, he eventually acknowledged that he might have.
Miss Kaur stated: “A Motorola and a Samsung cell phone were confiscated. Snapchat had previously been downloaded on the Motorola phone, but it had since been deleted. 7,075 entries had been removed from his web search history, but it was unclear when or by whom.
The court was informed that Motorola also had the offensive picture of the two lads. On the Samsung phone, an additional 7,485 erased internet search items were found.
Miss Kaur continued: “The defendant was interviewed on January 29. He claimed to have a Snapchat account named DeanoMac2026. He claimed to have sent a picture of his penis to that account, but he was unsure if the recipient was a youngster.
Moore acknowledged creating a TikTok account and communicating with a minor under the age of 18, but he disputed that it was sexual; the court was informed.
Moore last appeared in court in 2025 for violating sex offender notification regulations, according to Miss Kaur. Moore’s record included 14 crimes over a six-year period beginning in 2019.
Moore, a former forklift truck driver, was realistic about going to prison, according to defence attorney John Wilkinson. “The defendant pleaded guilty to all these matters,” he continued.
Judge Carolyn Scott sentenced Moore to 24 months in prison, stating that she didn’t think Moore could be rehabilitated in the community.
“These are very serious breaches,” stated Judge Scott. These prohibitions are included in your Sexual Harm Prevention Order for a very good reason: to protect others from harm. You disregarded that and proceeded with the task nonetheless.
In addition to having to sign the Sex Offenders’ Register for ten years, Moore was already subject to an indeterminate SHPO.
