In 2026, the Offender Register confirmed that David Preedy, who sexually assaulted two young boys for more than two decades, had been incarcerated.
Vile David Preedy perpetrated numerous offences against the youth to satisfy his sexual desires by preying on the vulnerable victims.
After one of the victims bravely reported the incident to the police last year, his catalogue of offences was disclosed.
Preedy was charged after a sensitive and intricate investigation conducted by our officers.
He entered a guilty plea in January to 12 sexual offences that occurred between August 2001 and December 2024.
Preedy, who was previously residing at Park Avenue in Burnley, was sentenced to ten years in prison at Preston Crown Court on July 3rd. He is currently 81 years old.
