On June 29, 2026, David Drury and Daniel Sellers were jailed for several child sex crimes after appearing in Hull Crown Court on Monday.
At an earlier hearing at Hull Crown Court on Monday, May 18, 2026, David Drury, a 40-year-old resident of Thoresby Street in Hull and a former Humberside Police official, entered a guilty plea to the following offences:
-Six counts of distributing an indecent photograph / pseudo-photograph of a child
-Two counts of sexual assault on a male
-Sexual assault of a child under 13
-Voyeurism
He now faces a nine-year prison sentence, a seven-year restraining order, a sexual harm prevention order, and a lifetime placement on the sex offenders register.
During a previous hearing at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, Daniel Sellers, 44, of Thoresby Street, Hull, entered a guilty plea to the following offences:
-Two charges of procuring/aiding and abetting sexual assault on a male, counselling, and aiding and abetting
-Organising and assisting in the commission of a sexual offence against children
He now faces a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence, a five-year restraining order, a sexual harm prevention order, and a lifetime placement on the sex offenders register.
