In 2022, Darren Sanby, the Lincoln Paedophile, well-known to the Police, was reincarcerated for accessing a website recognised for hosting indecent photographs of minors at a public library.
Darren Sanby was apprehended by law enforcement at Lincoln County Library on Monday, October 10, following allegations of a man exhibiting suspicious behaviour.
The then 27-year-old Darren Sanby was found to have utilised the computer in violation of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) to which he was subjected.
He has been accused and remanded to prison for violating his order. He will return to prison after receiving an additional eight-month sentence.
Darren Sanby was freed on license on September 14 after receiving a 40-month prison sentence for various child sex offences in March 2021.
The allegations included enticing a child to engage in sexual conduct, possession of indecent photos of minors, sexual communication with a child, and the creation of indecent images of a child.
Darren Sanby was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order in 2016. Detective Sergeant Sam Ward of the Paedophile Online Investigation Team stated: “Children are susceptible in numerous ways, but they are especially endangered online, including from predators who exploit their images for personal gratification.”
“We promptly addressed the report of concern, and through exemplary teamwork, we apprehended and charged an individual previously identified as a risk, returning him to prison to fulfil his sentence.”
