Cory Jones, the Treorchy Paedophile, a 19-year-old resident of Rees Street, has been sentenced to eight years for perpetrating 69 sexual or related offences against minors.
The acts transpired throughout 2024, when Cory Jones was 17 and 18 years old, affecting 37 victims aged between 10 and 16 years.
The allegations against Cory Jones comprised:
- Sexual communications with a child
- Causing a child to watch a sex act
- Causing a child to engage in sexual activity
- Causing/inciting penetration of the vagina
- Sharing intimate photographs without consent
- Blackmail
- Distributing indecent images
- Possession of images
Cory Jones will also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
