British Transport Police (BTP) detectives investigating two sexual assaults on London Underground Northern line trains have released CCTV images of a man they urgently want to identify and speak with.
The first incident occurred at around 8.40pm on Saturday, 1 August 2026, when a woman was sexually assaulted on board a Northern line train at Waterloo Underground station. When the victim turned around, the suspect had exposed himself. He then left the service and boarded a northbound Northern line train.
The same suspect targeted a second woman two days later, at around 8pm on 3 August, carrying out another sexual assault on board a Northern line train near Euston.
Officers investigating the linked attacks believe the man pictured in the released CCTV footage holds vital information that will assist their inquiries.
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police immediately by texting BTP on 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 716 of 1 August. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
