In 2022, a paedophile, Carl Purdy, who was convicted of raping his victim at least 28 times and subjecting her to sexual torture, was incarcerated.
Carl Purdy repeatedly assaulted the young girl, then 58, of Leeds, between the ages of seven and 13, according to the police. He frequently drove her to lay-bys.
He was also convicted of indecently assaulting two additional young girls after his trial at Leeds Crown Court in October.
Purdy, of Ring Road, Beeston, was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Monday.
He was found guilty of multiple offences, including indecent assault, unlawful sexual intercourse with a child, sexual activity with a child, and rape.
In April 2021, Purdy was charged after the initial victim disclosed the abuse she had experienced to a health practitioner before contacting the police.
The officers subsequently identified the two additional victims.
