In 2021, Alona Wickham, then aged 51, of Neeld Close, Yatton Keynell, appeared at Swindon Crown Court, where she pleaded guilty to seven charges involving indecent images of children and extreme pornography.
The court heard details regarding offences committed during February and March of the preceding year. Prosecutors outlined how Wickham engaged in making and distributing illicit images across Category A (involving penetrative sexual activity), Category B (non-penetrative sexual activity), and Category C.
The media involved severe acts of child rape, child sexual abuse, and torture.
Additionally, Wickham pleaded guilty to possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse or oral sex with a dead or alive animal, specifically involving snails and worms.
Defence barrister John Dyer stated to the court that Wickham had been encouraged to commit the offences by a man she met online, noting that active legal proceedings were underway against that individual.
