A student police officer, Paedophile Ahmad Shoaib, participated in sexual conduct with a 14-year-old male, as revealed at a disciplinary hearing.

An expedited misconduct tribunal on January 14 determined that a former West Mercia Police student officer would have been terminated from the police had he not already resigned.

The hearing determined that former PC Ahmad Shoaib, 38, violated the norm of discreditable behaviour as defined in the Police (behaviour) Regulations 2020.

On April 29, 2023, he engaged in sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old kid in his automobile at a public location. He was not on duty during the incident.

West Mercia Police became aware of the incident following his arrest by West Midlands Police, resulting in his suspension on May 2, 2023.

Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Jones stated, “PC Ahmad Shoaib was in the initial phases of his police training.” I am pleased that this allegation surfaced promptly, allowing us to take action before he could engage with the public.

“Incidents of this nature erode public trust in our institution, consequently diminishing the commitment and diligence exhibited by our officers consistently.”

“Individuals such as Ahmad Shoaib are unwelcome in our organisation, and our dedication to their removal will persist.”

Ahmad Shoaib will be included on the College of Policing’s forbidden list, prohibiting him from future employment with any UK police agency.

The result of the hearing is contingent upon the standard appeals procedure.
