A 32-year-old registered sex offender from Cheshire who sexually assaulted two schoolgirls, stalked another teenager, and burgled a care home has been sentenced to three years and three months’ imprisonment at Chester Crown Court.

Jorden Hansen, of Malpas, Cheshire, appeared for sentence after being convicted of multiple sexual, public order, and burglary offences following inquiries led by Cheshire Constabulary.

The court was told that on 17 April, two girls under 16 encountered Hansen while walking through an abandoned property in Malpas, Cheshire. Upon learning that one of the girls was 14 years old, Hansen told her she was “old enough” and solicited their Snapchat contact details. He proceeded to hug both girls, during which one victim felt his erection pressed against her leg, causing them significant distress and fear.

Six days after the incident, Hansen targeted a 17-year-old girl walking along Chester Road. Driving a motor vehicle, Hansen followed her at a crawling pace while staring intently at her, causing her severe alarm.

At the time of both incidents, Hansen was on court bail for a burglary committed at Prospect House Care Home in August 2025. Security cameras at the facility captured him attempting several external doors before using a ladder to access an upper-floor window, where he was subsequently confronted by a resident. Furthermore, Hansen was in breach of an operative suspended sentence and restrictive orders imposed in November 2025 for an offence involving the transmission of genital images.

Under the provisions of the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992 and Section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, all victims of sexual offences and child complainants are protected by automatic, lifelong statutory anonymity. Publishing, broadcasting, or disseminating any details, names, addresses, educational facilities, or photographs capable of leading to the public identification of protected individuals is strictly prohibited under UK law.

Hansen was convicted of:

  • Two counts of sexual assault of a child under 16
  • One count of burglary
  • Threatening behaviour

Passing sentence, Judge Natalie Cuddy observed that Hansen’s predatory conduct had severely impacted the confidence and personal independence of all three victims.

The judge imposed:

  • 27 months’ imprisonment for burglary
  • 12 consecutive months’ imprisonment for the child sexual assaults
  • Four months’ concurrent activation of his suspended sentence, amounting to an aggregate term of 39 months’ imprisonment
  • A 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO)
  • Restraining orders barring contact with his victims
  • Statutory notification requirements on the Sex Offenders Register under the Sexual Offences Act 2003
