Gabriel Riclea, aged 21, of Malt Close, Newmarket, Suffolk, has been sentenced at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, after pleading guilty to five counts of exposure involving women and teenage girls.
The offences occurred over a six-week timeframe between 28 October and 12 December 2025. The court heard that Riclea carried out repeated, deliberate exposure incidents in public spaces, with four offences taking place in Red Lodge and a fifth incident occurring in Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire. Riclea targeted women who were walking or jogging on their own, as well as two teenage victims who were 15 years of age at the time of the encounters, committing the acts for his personal sexual gratification.
Following multiple reports submitted to law enforcement by victims and witnesses, Suffolk Police initiated a criminal investigation. Officers arrested Riclea on 22 December 2025 and transported him to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning under caution before formally charging him with five offences.

The magistrates sentenced Riclea to a two-year community order. Under the provisions of the sentence, Riclea is required to complete a 26-day structured programme and undertake a 10-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR). In addition to the community order, the court ordered Riclea to register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act 2003, placing him on the Sex Offenders Register for a duration of five years.
