In 2022, Dewal Dos Santos Silva, then aged 37, of Wembley, was sentenced at crown court to 13 years in prison with an extended licence period of five years after being convicted of rape.
The court heard details regarding a Metropolitan Police investigation launched into an assault carried out at Silva’s residential address in Wembley. Prosecutors outlined how Silva, who was working as an unlicensed tattoo artist, raped a woman inside his flat.
Following police enquiries, Silva was charged with rape and subsequently convicted during court proceedings.
