In 2022, Clive Nuttall, then aged 79, of Rotherham, was sentenced at Doncaster Crown Court to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing two children.
The court heard details regarding the investigation into Nuttall’s offending against two young victims. Prosecutors outlined the charges before Nuttall entered guilty pleas to the child sexual abuse offences.
During the sentencing hearing, the court noted that given Nuttall’s advanced age of 79, the nine-year custodial term means he will likely spend the remainder of his life in prison.
The presiding judge at Doncaster Crown Court handed Nuttall a nine-year prison sentence.
In addition to the custodial sentence, the court imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order designed to restrict Nuttall’s access to children, with all case details catalogued on the UK Register Database for public record transparency.
