In 2026, Wiltshire Police launched an appeal for witnesses after a domestic assault occurred along a walkway and grass area near Moyle Park in Hilperton.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for information following a domestic altercation between a man and a woman that took place on Friday, 31 July 2026, between 7.30 pm and 9.40 pm. The incident occurred on the cycle path and walkway connecting Moyle Park to Parsonage Road, as well as near the grass area behind Moyle Park and the Paxcroft Community Centre. The male involved is described as wearing a cap, a t-shirt, and black shorts, and as having visible tattoos. The female is described as tall and slim-built, with brunette hair, carrying a black bag.
Investigating officers believe several members of the public witnessed the incident but have not yet come forward.
