In 2026, the Offender Register reported that Jovhan Pascoe, then 39, of Moss Bank Road, Crumpsall, was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum sentence of 15 years, for the rape of a woman at Manchester Crown Square Court on Monday, July 13, 2026.

He has a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, officers responded to reports of a severe sexual assault at an address located on St. Chad’s Street in Cheetham Hill. Pascoe was apprehended on suspicion of rape and subsequently placed in police custody.

Pascoe denied the offence and made derogatory remarks about the survivor during the investigation and the interview in police custody.

Pascoe would whistle and click to attract the judge’s attention while he was speaking in court.

Pascoe was convicted of rape by a jury at Manchester Crown Square Court on 13 March 2026, following a five-day jury trial. He was sentenced to life imprisonment on July 13, 2026, with a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years.
