After a woman was allegedly touched in the street, Nottinghamshire Police issued an appeal. Following accusations of a sexual assault in Radford, police are requesting witnesses.

That comes after a woman was allegedly molested while out for a morning stroll.

The victim saw someone emerge from Knighton Avenue behind her as she was strolling down Churchfield Lane.

After crossing the street and being pursued, she was apprehended from behind near St. Peter’s Church and the intersection with Hartley Road.

The man fled back up Churchfield Lane toward Alfreton Road when the woman shouted.

Since then, police have been looking into the event through door-to-door interviews and CCTV footage.

As part of their investigation into the event that occurred at around 8 a.m. on May 23, officers can now make public an image of a person they would like to talk with, who is thought to be a black teenage boy.

He is described as a black man with distinctive black jogging trousers with yellow stripes, black shoes and a black hoodie.

This is a deeply unpleasant incident and has understandably left the victim distressed,” stated Nottinghamshire Police Sergeant Karl Browne. We are committed to finding the perpetrator of violence against women and girls, which is a force priority that is always regarded with the highest seriousness.

The individual in this photo, who appears to be a teenage male, is someone we would love to talk to right away. We believe he may have important information that could help with our current investigations.
