Nottingham Rapist Dylan Davis, an individual who committed a heinous act of sexual assault against an adolescent female in a hotel room has been incarcerated.
Dylan Davis perpetrated an attack on the victim at a hotel located in the city heart of Nottingham on August 16, 2020.
Dylan Davis forcefully struck a beer bottle against the girl’s head, subsequently disposing of her mobile phone in the toilet, and then proceeded to commit a sexual assault against her.
Dylan Davis, a 24-year-old resident of Strelley Road in Nottingham, received a prison sentence of eight years during his appearance at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday, September 4th.
Before this, Dylan Davis had been found guilty on two charges of rape and one charge of assault resulting in physical harm during a legal proceeding.
In addition to sexually assaulting her, Dylan Davis also issued death threats to the woman should she attempt to leave, as well as physically assaulting her by biting and punching.
The hotel cleaning workers discovered the room littered with shattered glass the next day.
The victim arrived at their residence, promptly notified the authorities about the occurrence, and received assistance from Nottinghamshire Police officers who have received specialised training.
Upon Dylan Davis’ arrest, he adamantly denied any wrongdoing and asserted that he engaged in consensual sexual activity with the victim.
Detective Inspector Dan Holloway, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Detectives are full of admiration for this victim who has shown immense courage and dignity.
“Dylan Davis subjected her to a violent and degrading ordeal before refusing to admit what he had done. This meant the victim had to face a lengthy and distressing legal process which included a crown court trial.
“My thoughts are with her and her family as Dylan Davis begins his prison sentence.
“Without her bravery he would not have been brought to justice.
“Dylan Davis’ behaviour, in stark contrast, has been reprehensible throughout.
“I would like to thank all officers and staff who worked so tirelessly to bring Dylan Davis to justice.
“I hope the sentencing of Dylan Davis will encourage other victims of rape and serious sexual assault to have the confidence to come forward and report offenders.
“Our experienced officers are here to help the victims of appalling crimes like this.”
