Offences:
- Sexual activity with a child, contrary to Section 9(1) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003
- Assault of an emergency worker, contrary to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and Section 1 of the Assaults on Emergency Workers Act 2018
Although he entered pleas of not guilty, he was found guilty by the court following a trial.

- Six-month custodial sentence, suspended for 12 months

- £154 victim surcharge
- Requirement to complete 20 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement (RAR) days
- Registration on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years
- A restraining order was granted for the protection of the victim
It is understood that Mr Wood is currently residing in the Gwent/Caerphilly area of South Wales.
