In 2026, the Offender Database reported that Luke Williamson, then 34, of Bunyan Road, Kempston, Bedfordshire, was sentenced to a total of 11 years at Hull Crown Court. Williamson pleaded guilty to 20 child sex offences involving three teenage girls, all under the age of 16.
The investigation by Humberside Police established that Williamson targeted victims across Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, and the West Midlands. He used social media to send thousands of messages, videos, and voice calls to manipulate the girls into believing he was in love with them. The court reported that he also used bribes, including money, alcohol, and vapes, to pressure the girls into agreeing to meet him.
Convictions and Continued Harassment
Williamson was charged in July 2025 and pleaded guilty in October 2025. The offences included:
- 12 counts of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence.
- Three counts of sexual communications with a child.
- Three counts of making indecent photographs of a child.
- One count of causing a child to watch a sexual act.
- One count of taking indecent photographs of a child.
Detective Inspector Cat Slaughter noted that even while on remand for a previous investigation, Williamson continued to target one of the girls by writing letters to her from prison.
Sentence and Lifetime Orders
For his crimes across multiple regions and the hearing in Hull, Luke Williamson was:
- Sentenced to eight years in prison.
- Ordered to serve an additional three years on licence.
- Placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
- Subjected to a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
The judge at Hull Crown Court handed down the sentence on Friday, 23 January 2026. The court acknowledged the difficulty the victims faced in engaging with the investigation due to the level of sexual manipulation they endured.
Monitoring and Public Protection
Williamson is managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by Humberside Police and Bedfordshire Police. His status and his residency in Kempston remain under “critical” scrutiny to ensure public safety.
As an indefinite member of the Sex Offenders Register and subject to a lifelong SHPO, Williamson must comply with notification requirements for the rest of his life. Humberside Police state that they will continue to pursue those who use digital platforms to groom and exploit children. Any breach of his orders or licence conditions will result in his return to Hull Crown Court.
