In 2017, the Offender Database reported that Lee Vincent Little, then 48, originally of Perranporth, Cornwall, and later of Valleyfield Road, Streatham, South London, was jailed for three years after “dishonestly” grooming an underage girl. Little appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentencing after a jury found him guilty of “vile” and “vicious” charges, including inciting a child to perform a sexual act and grooming for sex.

The investigation by Devon and Cornwall Police revealed that Little, then 46 at the time of the offences, became “obsessed” with the young teenager. He “callously” invented a fake Facebook account, posing as an adolescent boy to bypass the victim’s natural defences. Between 2014 and 2015, he sent “vile” sexualised messages to the girl, who was under the age of 16, and attempted to coerce her into performing sexual acts for him.

Professional Deception and Judicial Condemnation
Judge Robert Linford emphasised that Little’s “persistent behaviour” had a “profound” effect on the victim. During the trial, Little “callously” denied the charges, forcing the child and other witnesses to give evidence. The judge reported that watching Little conduct his trial provided a “window into his character,” demonstrating a complete absence of remorse.

Judge Linford stated that while the offending did not involve physical touching, he believed that had the contact not been terminated when the victim discovered Little’s real age, Little’s ultimate goal would have been “vicious” penetrative activity.

Release and Monitoring
Lee Vincent Little has since been released from prison after serving his custodial sentence. However, as a result of his “serious” convictions for child grooming and incitement, he remains subject to strict public protection measures.

Little is registered on the Sex Offenders Register and is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). He is managed under Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) by the Metropolitan Police in London and Devon and Cornwall Police. These agencies strictly monitor his digital behaviour and movements in Streatham and Perranporth. Any attempt to create “dishonest” social media profiles or contact minors will result in his immediate arrest and return to prison.
