Joao Teixeira was told he would receive a substantial prison sentence after admitting to running two online paedophile groups as part of an organised crime group. Joao Teixeira was in charge of a dark net group called “Shota Heaven” and a Telegram chat group named “Naughty Room 3.0,” both of which were used to share thousands of vile child sex abuse images and videos.
Joao Teixeira pleaded guilty to 12 charges following an investigation by the National Crime Agency, including possession of more than 13,000 prohibited images of children and facilitating the sexual exploitation of children. The court heard that Joao Teixeira’s groups shared content featuring children under the age of 12, and the judge warned Joao Teixeira that a lengthy custodial sentence was inevitable.
