The Offender Database reported that John Callaway, an Everton Rapist Sex Offender, 43, of Shakespeare Close, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today (Monday, 1 December 2025) after being found guilty of rape.
On Monday, 24 March 2023, at around 5 am, John Callaway was in his van when he stopped and spoke to a 19-year-old woman on Seel Street in the city centre.
He then drove her to a derelict land near West Derby Road and raped her.
John Callaway was jailed for 13 years.
Detective Constable Jason Banks said, “John Callaway is a dangerous predator who targeted his victim and subjected her to a horrific experience.
