In 2019, the Offender Database reported that Michael Elias, a Swanland Paedophile Child Molester, from Letchworth, who operated a youth club at a community centre, was sentenced to three years in prison for the creation and possession of indecent images and videos of children, as well as for the sexual exploitation of a teenage girl.

Michael Elias, from Swanland, East Riding of Yorkshire, received a three-year prison sentence at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday for two counts of deliberately causing or instigating the sexual exploitation of a 16-year-old child, and for possessing indecent still and moving photographs of a child.

Michael Elias was convicted of deliberately exploiting a teenage girl from August to September 2016 by requesting that she record herself taking a shower.

Between June and September 2016, the court examined how the exploitation by the 45-year-old compelled a 16-year-old girl to transmit indecent images of herself to him. He received a concurrent sentence of 2½ years for both charges.

Michael Elias coached a youth club at the Jackmans Community Centre, which showcased performances at the yearly fun day.

Michael Elias was also sentenced for possession of category A indecent moving photos of children, which depict penetrative sexual behaviour, as well as categories B and C, in February 2017.

He was also culpable of producing one category A image and four category B photographs between July 2012 and February 2017.

Judge Philip Grey sentenced Michael Elias to a six-month prison term to be served consecutively, along with a one-year term to be served concurrently, resulting in a total prison sentence of three years and six months.

He was also placed under a sexual harm prevention order until further notice.
