In 2018, the Offender Database reported that David Symonds, the Durrington Paedophile Child Molester, a sexual predator apprehended for grooming individuals he presumed to be young females online, including a 12-year-old, was incarcerated.
David Symonds of Durrington appeared in court and confessed to multiple counts concerning sexual crimes against minors.
The court was informed that David Symonds reached out to multiple online personas he suspected belonged to underage girls.
He transmitted a series of sexual texts with the intention of initiating sexual intercourse with the child.
At one juncture, he indecently exposed himself on WhatsApp during a live chat, believing he was communicating with a 12-year-old girl.
However, none of the females were real; they were decoys used by different paedophile hunting organisations, notably JFTI Scottish Division and Cobra.
Justice for the Innocent conducted the sting operation on David Symonds and interrogated him over his online activities.
The police were summoned, and he was promptly apprehended.
The judge handed David Symonds 22 months’ imprisonment and placed him on the sex offenders register
