In 2024, the Offender Database reported that Jason Barrow, the Northwich Paedophile Sex Offender, residing on Lilac Drive, Cheshire, appeared at Chester Crown Court on July 9 to face six allegations related to obscene images.
The court was informed that the 46-year-old had downloaded 23 indecent images of minors, 19 forbidden images of children, and one extreme pornographic image between September 2018 and April of the previous year.
Out of the 23 obscene photographs, 10 were classified as category A – the most severe – while six were category B and seven were category C.
During a court hearing on May 3, Jason Barrow admitted guilt to all charges and subsequently returned to the dock this month for sentencing.
Judge Steven Everett imposed an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for a period of two years.
Judge Everett mandated Jason Barrow to perform 150 hours of community service within 12 months and to engage in up to 30 days of rehabilitative activities.
