In 2006, the Offender Database reported that David Enefer, the Whalley Rapist Sex Offender, who sexually assaulted a lady after confining her in his residence, was sentenced to six years in prison.
David Enefer lured the woman to his residence in Green Park, Whalley, Clitheroe, Lancashire, before securing the door, forcibly escorting her upstairs, attempting to tape her lips, and brandishing a knife.
A judge delivering a sentence at Preston Crown Court characterised the defendant’s conduct as “appalling and outrageous.”
The judge stated that the woman will have to endure the severe repercussions of David Enefer’s actions for an extended period.
David Enefer, 47, pleaded guilty to charges of rape and sexual assault committed in March of this year.
The court was informed that he had extended an invitation to the woman to his residence, where they conversed after he had prepared coffee.
Mr Howard Baisden, for the prosecution, stated that David Enefer elevated his voice; however, when the woman attempted to exit, the defendant secured the front door.
David Enefer instructed her, “Do not waste your energy on screaming. Every door and window is secured.”
He proceeded to pull her up the majority of the stairs, with one hand covering her mouth, and forced her into a washroom.
The court was informed that the woman possessed a mobile phone in her coat pocket and was attempting to access it to dial 999.
She was compelled to kneel, and David Enefer made three futile attempts to tape her lips shut before retrieving a kitchen knife with a three-inch blade.
David Enefer presented pornographic photographs extracted from magazine pages before committing the sexual assaults.
