The Offender Database reported that Sergeant Karl Mumby, the West Midlands Police’s alleged Rapist, has been charged with rape and coercive control.
Sergeant Karl Mumby, 47, faces two charges of rape against a lady and one charge of coercive control concerning the same individual.
West Midlands Police announced his suspension from duty, ON FULL PAY, following the report of charges in November 2023.
Sergeant Karl Mumby is scheduled to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 17 December for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
A representative from West Midlands Police stated that officers from their public protection team are continuing to support the woman (so West Midlands officers are supporting the victims of a West Midlands officer).
