The Offender Database said that Jack Penman, a 22-year-old Paedophile sex offender from Aberdeen, engaged in inappropriate communication with minors on social media, asserting it was his “kink.”
An Aberdeen paedophile has been sentenced to imprisonment after confessing to an extensive record of inappropriate communication with minors, including one as young as 10 years old.
Jack Penman, 22, was found guilty of transmitting inappropriate texts to 19 distinct females, whom he believed were aged between 10 and 15 years.
The court was informed that Jack Penman persistently enquired of the unidentified children whether they had any younger sisters he could “corrupt,” as this was his “kink.”
The Aberdeen Sheriff Court saw a troubling 10-page account of Jack Penman’s inappropriate communications with children on Snapchat.
Fiscal Andrew McMann reviewed the compilation of messages discovered on his phones by law enforcement, following the entrapment of Jack Penman by an undercover investigator in June 2024.
The internet predator’s nefarious endeavours to locate young victims for ‘sexting’ commenced in December 2023, when he was 20 years old, and persisted until August 2024, when law enforcement executed a raid on his Wood Street apartment in Aberdeen and his parents’ residence in Berwickshire.
Conversations between Jack Penman and 18 other girls during that timeframe were found on his devices.
He would candidly disclose his age and propose to send a photograph of his genitalia, enquiring whether they were interested in sexting.
A 10-year-old responded that she was unfamiliar with the concept, prompting Jack Penman to offer her instruction.
Another girl informed him that she had a nine-year-old sister, and Jack Penman requested her contact information.
The girl enquired, “Do you not believe that nine is excessively young?” Jack Penman responded, “I mean, if she consents.”
Jack Penman was found guilty of engaging in indecent communication with minors.
Jack Penman consistently expressed his desire to “corrupt” even younger girls and enquired whether they had any younger sisters.
In June 2024, Jack Penman initiated communication with a 13-year-old girl identifying herself as Maisie; however, the court revealed that this individual was, in fact, an undercover police officer.
She participated in conversations with Jack Penman, during which he requested photographs of her in a school uniform and transmitted images of his genitalia.
The conversations included sexually explicit solicitations from Jack Penman, which are too unsettling to disclose.
He enquired of the decoy whether she had any younger sisters or acquaintances, stating: “I want to ascertain if this is a boundary for you.”
I am attracted to women who endeavour to persuade their friends or sisters to embrace promiscuity, should you share that interest.
“Would you be inclined to ascertain if your friends would like to participate in our activities?”
He described this as “his kink” at one juncture, acknowledging it was “rather peculiar.”
While communicating with other genuine women, he requested them to undress or send films, prompting one with the phrase: “Show daddy some more skin.”
A 15-year-old girl responded, “I cannot – I am prohibited from taking photographs during class.”
Jack Penman directly enquired of another 13-year-old, “Alright, let’s not be evasive – are you interested in sexting?”
In every conversation, Jack Penman would verify that he was 20 years old.
Asking a 15-year-old if she had any younger sisters, Jack Penman got a response to say she knew a five-year-old.
He replied: “Out of your sisters, friends and this five-year-old, who do you think you could get to talk to more easily?”
Jack Penman was jailed for 24 months and placed under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for six years.
Sheriff Wallace said, “This is serious sexual offending towards young girls.
“You contacted a significant number of young girls, one as young as 10.
“You invoked them to engage in sexual actions – particularly shocking were your repeated attempts to involve even younger children in your sexual activity.
“The impact of these girls must be significant – not just now but in the future.”
Jack Penman was placed on the sex offenders register and made subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.
