The Offender Database reported that Paul Beckwith, North Yorkshire Police Paedophile, 53, from York, has been sentenced today (Wednesday, November 19, 2025) to 14 months’ jail, suspended for 18 months, for three charges of possessing indecent photographs of children and five counts of voyeurism.

He attended York Crown Court following his guilty plea to all eight charges at York Magistrates’ Court on 29 October.

He has been placed under a Community Order and is required to participate in rehabilitation activities and mental health therapy.

Paul Beckwith was an active Police Constable with North Yorkshire Police until he was apprehended on 17 November 2024 on suspicion of possessing obscene photographs of minors.

Paul Beckwith was promptly suspended from his responsibilities ON FULL PAY.

He was subsequently arrested on 13 March 2025 for suspected voyeurism and additional charges involving obscene photographs of children.

Paul Beckwith was terminated without notice by Chief Constable Tim Forber for egregious misconduct at an Accelerated Misconduct Hearing (AMH) on April 7.

The results of the AMH were restricted from disclosure to facilitate the completion of the criminal investigation and court proceedings, ensuring a fair and just legal process.

Paul Beckwith was accused on 24 September and subsequently pleaded guilty when he appeared before magistrates the following month.
