Toby Macenzie, the Brighton Paedophile and Sex Offender, found guilty of raping one teenager and attempting to rape another during his own adolescence, has been sentenced to imprisonment.
Toby Macenzie, 24, of Carlyle Street, Brighton, appeared at the crown court in Brighton on Friday, November 7, following a conviction for two charges of rape.
In 2018, Sussex Police received allegations from two adolescent females regarding their rape by an acquaintance.
The initial victim, aged 16 at the time of the incident, stated that Toby Macenzie attempted to rape her and subjected her to a severe sexual assault after encountering him during a holiday in 2018.
In June of that year, Toby Macenzie sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in his residence after supplying her with alcohol. The woman awoke to discover Toby Macenzie assaulting her in a bedroom.
She was ill and was unable to exit the room, during which she was raped a second time by Toby Macenzie.
Text exchanges on her phone following the assaults indicated that the victim reiterated her lack of consent, while Toby Macenzie expressed ‘apologies’ for his offences.
Both victims received ongoing help from specialised officers throughout the judicial proceedings.
Toby Macenzie was apprehended and subsequently indicted on two counts of rape of a minor, attempted rape of an adult female, and assault by penetration.
At the Crown Court in Brighton on Friday, 7 November, he was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.
