Mark Baker, the Lancashire Paedophile Teacher, from Worcestershire, was sentenced today (Tuesday, 21 October) for historical sexual abuse of a female student.
Mark Baker, 53, was sentenced to a 24-month community order at Worcester Crown Court for two charges of indecent assault on a female under the age of 16.
In his 20s, during the 1990s, Mark Baker taught at The River School in Worcester and developed an inappropriate relationship with a female student approximately 12 years old at that time.
Mark Baker, from Haws Hill, near Tenbury Wells, in Lancashire, was previously admitted to the allegations after an investigation conducted by Worcester’s Protecting Vulnerable People (PVP) unit.
The maltreatment was initially reported to law enforcement in July of the previous year.
Mark Baker was mandated to undergo a 50-day rehabilitation program, perform 180 hours of community service, be registered as a sex offender for five years, and pay court fees.
